Computer Vision Engineer

We are looking for a Computer Vision Specialist to implement computer vision and image recognition technologies to provide new, innovative features to our customers, and turn information into insights.

In this role you will:

  • Use the latest advances in neural networks and computer vision to bring new experiences to our customers
  • Develop and deploy edge/cloud software frameworks for computer vision processing
  • Integrate computer vision processing with other services from Atollogy

We’re looking for:

  • BS/MS (in computer vision (CV), machine learning, or related technical fields)
  • Experience working on applied CV projects. Examples include (but are not limited to) optical character recognition (OCR), object detection and recognition, video analytics, image classification, and visual question answering (VQA) etc.
  • Understanding of state-of-the-art deep learning and computer vision techniques
  • Experience with CNN, RNN, supervised and unsupervised learning, optimization techniques
  • Experience with traditional/legacy computer vision techniques (e.g. OpenCV) and be able to make solid recommendations on techniques based on pros/cons analysis

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with one or more deep learning frameworks such as Caffe, Theano, Torch, TensorFlow
  • Computer vision related hardware experience (e.g. camera selection, lighting, etc.)

Field Service Master Technician

We are looking for a Field Service Master Technician to install, program, maintain and repair Atollogy hardware wiring and equipment and ensures work is in accordance with relevant codes for Atollogy, Inc.

 

In this role you will:

  • Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, floors, and other areas as required.
  • Examine systems to locate problems such as loose connections or broken insulation.
  • Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets, then position and terminate cables, wires and strapping.
  • Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures have been met.
  • Install, maintain, or repair Atollogy systems and devices, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
  • Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras, and attach electrical and internet-related wiring in order to connect components.
  • Mount raceways and conduits, and fasten wires to wood framing, using staplers.
  • Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
  • Test and confirm all Atollogy features in order to ensure proper functioning, and to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Keep informed of new products and developments. Request orders for replacement parts. Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.
  • Extensive travel to customer sites is required for this position. All expenses are paid for or reimbursed by the company.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network related problems encountered by end-users of the network. Has a basic understanding of IPV4 and how to assign a computer an IP address.

 

We are looking for:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Previous knowledge of integrated camera surveillance systems preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset
  • A minimum of two years of experience related to the job duties of this position is required.
  • Communicates effectively in both oral and written communications.
  • Knowledge of English is a MUST. Additional language knowledge will be considered an asset.  Communicates with supervisor, peers, subordinates and other Company staff; working as part of a team contributing to Company goals.
  • The job requires being careful about detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw conclusions drawing upon experience, research, and input from peers. This position performs multiple job tasks on a daily basis. Discuss unusual or complex problems encountered with the Project Superintendent for input and/or direction.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent prolonged periods of standing, bending, pulling, twisting, reaching, climbing and standing.
  • While performing the duties of this position; the employee may be exposed to weather conditions from 120 degrees to below 0 degrees and exposed to various climates and conditions. Wearing of safety clothing and equipment may at times be required. Safety clothing and equipment will be provided by the company.

Inside Sales Representative

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to grow our customer base.

 

In this role you will:

  • Penetrate and navigate enterprise and mid-sized manufacturing organizations to sell our SaaS solutions
  • Engage in business conversations with prospects to explain the value of our solution in ways that they can easily understand
  • Ask thoughtful questions that assess business needs use value selling to close deals
  • Conduct phone calls and demonstrate our solution via web meetings
  • Educate key players about the benefits of Smart Manufacturing
  • Develop champions and coaches at your prospects and customers
  • Team with our Atollogists from Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering and management to penetrate new customers and markets
  • Work with our Channel Partners to identify and close deals

 

We’re looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years selling enterprise software solutions into manufacturing companies
  • Ability to move multiple deals through the sales cycle in parallel
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Passion for manufacturing operations
  • Track record of 100%+ quota attainment
  • Ability to consistently report on all sales activities and productivity on a timely basis

Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to implement customer premise IoT networks that communicate with our machine vision and data analytics cloud to provide new, innovative features to our customers, and turn information into insights.

In this role you will:

  • Develop reliable edge/cloud software for IoT and computer vision processing
  • Develop innovative visualizations for enterprise customers
  • Develop frameworks for efficient machine learning applications

We’re looking for:

  • BS/MS (in CS or CE)
  • Proficiency in Python, Javascript, Node, React
  • Full stack development experience
  • Familiarity with LAMP stack and open source software toolchains
  • Ability to squeeze the most out of limited computational resources

DevOps Lead

We are looking for a DevOps Lead to implement customer premise IoT networks that communicate with our machine vision and data analytics cloud to provide new, innovative features to our customers, and turn information into insights.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead automation efforts for continuous deployment and configuration management for hybrid-cloud infrastructure focused on IoT data and computer vision processing.
  • Actively participate in engineering scrum and design meetings to deliver operationally integrated deployment solutions that drive quality releases and achieve high levels of system uptime.
  • Play a central role in disaster recovery, capacity expansion, and system reliability within our hybrid cloud.
  • Produce and maintain documentation of requirements, installation/deployments, incident response, and recovery procedures.
  • Research new promising technologies, strategies, and ways to solve technical issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.

We’re looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in the design, development, and deployment of Linux hybrid-cloud applications at scale – preferably supporting deployments where customer located edge devices were in use.
  • Broad experience with open-source toolchains and cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Coding experience with Ruby, Python, and shell scripting.
  • Configuration management tooling experience with Chef/Puppet/other.
  • Provisioning automation using cloud provider API’s and configuration metadata storage tools like Consul or Etcd
  • Proficient in logging tools such as ELK stack or Greylog.
  • Working experience with GIT, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Experience working in environments where IT governance and compliance controls and risk management policies are in place.
  • Deep understanding of operating systems, application security configurations, and best practices.
  • Ability to take the initiative to pursue assignments, responsibilities, and support the delivery of sound logical designs that scale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a systems level mindset that allows you to quickly assess and analyze system outages and promptly resolve them.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with containers and container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
  • Experience supporting machine learning processes/pipelines.
  • Experience with hardware peripherals and the guts of device drivers
